About
The Washdyke Family Store is on State Highway 1 at Timaru’s northern edge, which makes it the easiest charity-shop stop if you are driving through South Canterbury between Christchurch and Dunedin. The Salvation Army lists books among its Family Store stock, and the shop is open six days until 5pm.
Temuka’s Family Store is 15 minutes further north on the same highway, and Timaru Booksellers is about ten minutes south in the town centre.
