About
The Salvation Army’s Timaru Family Store is on Wai-iti Road in Highfield, a short drive west of the town centre. Its official listing names books among the clothing, furniture, household goods and toys on sale, and it appears on Venture Timaru’s pre-loved shopping trail.
It is one of two Salvation Army stores in Timaru: the larger Washdyke store on the Hilton Highway is open until 5pm. Pair either with Timaru Booksellers on Stafford Street for the only dedicated secondhand shelves in town.
Price tip: Family Store pricing — low-cost paperbacks.
