About
The Salvation Army’s Wānaka Family Store is in the Three Parks development on Umbers Street, a few minutes’ drive from the lakefront. Its official listing names books among the clothing, furniture, household goods and toys on sale, and profits support the Salvation Army’s community work.
It is close to Wastebusters on Ballantyne Road, so a loop of Wastebusters, the Family Store and the Hospice Shop’s Book Room on Brownston Street covers every used-book source in town.
