About
The Red Cross Shop on Bond Street, in the warehouse precinct just off the Exchange, is laid out over two spaces: a general op shop for clothing and homewares, and a separate area for books, music and media. Visitors say the book level is easy to miss — one reviewer only found it after a staff member asked if they knew about it — so ask at the counter.
It is a short walk from both the Vogel St Hospice bookshop and Habitat on Gordon Street, so the three make a compact warehouse-district charity crawl. Hours are weekday business hours plus Saturday until mid-afternoon; check before a public holiday.
Price tip: Op-shop prices; visitors describe the book level as quality secondhand stock at op-shop prices.
