About
Habitat for Humanity’s Dunedin Op Shop sits on the corner of Gordon and Vogel Streets in the warehouse precinct, which makes it a natural second stop after the Vogel St Hospice bookshop a few metres away. Habitat’s own page describes a wide range of pre-loved clothing, homewares and furniture alongside “good books”, with dedicated areas for records, games, puzzles and toys.
It is open seven days, so it suits weekend browsing when some independent shops are shut. Proceeds support Habitat’s housing work, and the shop partners with local groups including Nest Dunedin and the Dunedin Bedding Bank.
