Salvation Army Family Store — Kaiapoi on Charles Street is the Waimakariri Family Store south of Rangiora. Official Salvation Army copy lists books with clothing, furniture, household goods and toys — proceeds support community ministries.
Weekday hours are 9am–4:30pm; Saturday is shorter (10am–1pm), so plan weekday visits if you want a longer browse. Combine with The Book Cellar on Ohoka Road for a dedicated bookshop plus charity shelves, and with Nurse Maude and SPCA for a full Kaiapoi loop.
