The Dunedin North Family Store on North Road serves North East Valley and the student-heavy northern suburbs. It is a straightforward neighbourhood charity store, handy if you are heading toward Baldwin Street or out to Port Chalmers via the northern motorway.
Books are part of the official Family Store stock list. Student turnover around the university means the shelves can throw up textbooks, set readings and recent paperbacks at the start and end of semesters.
