Nurse Maude Hospice Shop — Rangiora on High Street is the North Canterbury branch of Nurse Maude’s hospice retail. Like the Christchurch hospice shops already listed, it sells donated clothing and household goods to fund palliative care — books are a common part of that donation stream.
Open Monday–Friday 9:30am–5pm and Saturday 10am–4pm. It sits on the same High Street op-shop strip as City Mission (Gables Arcade) and near SPCA, making Rangiora one of the easiest outer-Christchurch towns for a walking book fossick.
Price tip: Op-shop book pricing — often a few dollars; condition and selection vary by week.
