King’s Books & Stamps is a Richmond secondhand bookshop on Stanmore Road that also deals in stamps — an easy miss if you’re only scanning Edgeware. Spinoff’s reviewer only found it because a friend pointed it out, then preferred it to nearby Reverie for affordability and general book quality.
Expect genre fiction, science fiction and fantasy, and children’s shelves that reward a fossick. It’s the kind of suburban shop where odd gems turn up between the woodchipper-pace paperback turnover. Closed Mondays; hours otherwise stretch into early evening Friday–Saturday. Combine with Reverie on Edgeware Road or Vinnies on Stanmore for a Richmond loop.
Price tip: Spinoff called prices more affordable than nearby Reverie, with better overall quality.
