About
The Garage is Habitat for Humanity’s reuse shop next to the Invercargill Landfill & Transfer Station on Bond Street, in the west of the city. Habitat says stock arrives daily; the focus is appliances, furniture, tools and homewares, but its page also lists clothing, books and toys.
It keeps the longest hours of any Invercargill op shop, opening at 8am and closing at 5:30pm in winter and 6pm in summer — handy if you are dropping off at the transfer station anyway.
